I did not remove any start up programs, and to make sure all startup processor are completed and its in normal state, all measurements are taken after 6 minutes from startup.
To make sure network is working fine we use a command called ‘ ping’. This command sends ICMP packets to destination (it can be any network deceives, such as computers, print servers, routers..etc) and receives reply. This process named as ‘Echo Request’. By default in Windows Vista and XP computers this ICMP packets are blocked in default firewall settings.
In two ways you can enable ping or echo request in windows Vista ( Enable Ping in Windows XP),
1) Disable the Firewall ( Not Recommended)
2) Create an exception fo ICMP packets in default firewall. To do this follow the steps…….

There were 64-bit processors, the operational systems, some programs. However completely all users have passed to 64 bits still far not. In article the reasons of it are considered.
In 2003-2004 a next revolution started in the world of PCs. It embraced all the computers, all operating systems, and all applied programs with no exception. Having started torrentially, it must have boosted computer engineering up to the next level by 2005-2006. However, now when I’m writing these words (2008 is coming to its end) this revolution has not reached its peak yet. What is meant here is the migration to 64-bit technologies. Let’s see how this migration started, how it went on and what the present situation is.
Indications : 
Network slow in vista, Accessing network shares are very slow
Copying network shares in vista computer is slow or stopped.
Resolving computer or network resource names with DNS taking time or not working.

Reason :
This is because of some new network functions in Vista. Microsoft tried some different technology in vista network to make things easy, but finally it failed. It is not a common problem for all vista computers, if your computer has latest service packs, patches and hot fixes, you may not face these above problems.
Solution

Indications:
When you log in to Vista computer, you may recive the following message,
Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off. Please see the event log for details or contact your administrator.”
Reason :
If you see only Temporary Profile in Vista , this is due to problem with loading your correct profile.
Solution:
1) Logon to another Administrator account.
2) Delete the User account profile that this error is for in Registry.
Indications :
Run is Missing in Vista
You can not see Run in Start Menu
Reason :
It is Windows Vista default setting
Solution:
By default Run is missing in Vista start menu where you used to find in Windows XP. The new location of Run in Vista is,
Start Button –> All Programs –> Accessories
