Is IE9 Ready? Download and Try IE9, It’s Just a Test Drive

Is IE9 ReadyAfter seeing several blogs about Internet Explorer 9, I wanted to try it.  Is IE9 ready? As other blogs posting, IE9 is not ready for downloading .But an IE9 preview tool is available from Microsoft to try on your PC. I suggest to not downloading IE9 from any other websites.

IE9 preview tool is for testing purpose of performance and compatibility of web pages.  You can open any web pages in IE9 preview tool and see the difference and inform or suggest Microsoft for any difficulties you face in IE9.

Here is the screen shot of web page loaded in IE9 preview tool. Currently I use Firefox as my browser because I fed up with Internet Explorer 8. Compare to IE8, IE9 preview tool worked faster and I can see the clarity of picture edges and fonts in IE9. But can’t conclude anything now without full version of IE9. I’m sure IE9 will be a good web browser in future, if Mozilla doesn’t try anything new.

Also, you can force the IE9 preview tool to load the same webpage in different IE versions like IE8, IE7, IE6 and IE5.  This option created to see the difference between all IE versions and how IE9 is performing.

Download IE9 preview tool directly from Microsoft here. IE9 preview Tool requires Windows 7 (x86 or x64) or Windows Vista SP2 (x86 or x64), So not for Windows XP users now.

IE9 preview tool is just only for testing purpose. Don’t use it as your web browser and open all sites. Let’s wait for the full beta or complete version of Internet Explorer 9 from Microsoft.

Interesting comparison between famous web browsers with Internet Explorer 9 is here.

I suggest subscribing Sysprobs and being in touch with IE9 updates.

I would find it better to design my own web browser rather than giving a try to IE 9. IE sucks!
